The Voices of Men: Rediscovering the Mature Masculine
This webinar will be from 8:30am to 10:30am.

with Palama Lee, Daniel Aipa, & Rick Kang
Facilitated by: Chris Yanuaria & Vernon Viernes

Primary prevention of domestic violence must include engaging men as allies. This public health approach stops the violence before it starts and encourages men to live into their authentic selves, thus allowing men to participate in healthy, equitable, and respectful relationships. Authentic masculinity, in part, is associated with healthily connecting to one’s mind, physical body, and spirit. Our guest panelists will share how they practice these dimensions in their own lives and the critical role men can play in preventing domestic violence.

Objectives:
Describe the importance of engaging men as allies to prevent domestic violence; &
Identify promising interventions focused on mental health, physical health, and
spiritual health in working with men and boys.
